I read that other people didn't like it, because while it sets up the creepiness with the night travellers it doesn't actually follow it all the way through, which I don't agree with. I do agree that the ending falls short with Jack worried about cans of film that could be in other people's basements, it should have stayed with the boy who got his breath back...
