Does anyone know why...

One of my userpics would change without my knowledge? I know that the iconmaker can take down the original, but if I'm hosting it from my photobucket that wouldn't affect it would it? The correct picture is still in my photobucket, but has changed to an anime picture in my userpics. Does anyone know why that would happen? Does that mean someone has hacked my lj?

I think I'm going to reset my password...

ETA: Okay that was weird the first time I tried to reset my password livejournal sent me to the marvel comics journal... And didn't reset it.

Sometimes LJ is just insane, I think. It hasn't happened to me in a long time, but once or twice my icons have gone screwy, even so far as to be not my own icons at all. Usually things calm down again in a day or two? Just cross your fingers :P

Screwy was actually the word I was going to use ;o) It seems to be better, but it's only been a day though.

That's really weird... it shouldn't have changed even if you did remove it from your photobucket account because once you upload an icon to LJ it's actually hosted on LJ. That's why the direct URL it an LJ one. It's possible LJ is having a giant server fart.

Well that explains why the link to my photobucket no longer appears when I "manage userpics."
