That is kinda freaky...

Livejournal and Turner Classic Movies have the same birthday...

Otherwise, life is okay... Thank you for asking ;o)

Oh and the only reason I am using this mood, is because it's Jack with Nine... Did I mention I love Nine (even if JB doesn't :P)? I do, I am actually on the lookout for the episode Rose (I had a source, but it went belly up :o()

ETA: And since I posted today, I'll say Happy Birthday David Tennant :P

What's Your Life's Mission?

I aspire to this:

You Are the Artist
You are unique and inspired. You aren't happy unless you are making art of some sort.
Almost anything can be a catalyst for your creativity. You find the whole world stimulating.

You have beautiful visions, and you're good at expressing them. You like people to see what you see.
You also have an inventor's spirit. You're always thinking up new ideas and concepts.

Aw crap, I wanted to be weirder :P

So, frankiesblue, your LiveJournal reveals...

You are... 0% unique and 7% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy musicals). When it comes to friends you are normal. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 22

(The average level of weirdness is: 29.
You are weirder than 48% of other LJers.)

Find out what your weirdness level is!

This may or may not offend some people..

But I don't care... My biggest pet peeve on livejournal and on lastfm, is people who don't credit the makers of the graphics that they use. Whether it be an icon or a layout, it's not hard and it doesn't take long to give credit to the maker... I learned how and I still don't know how to even do strikethrough on here. I saw an icon on lastfm that I recognized from here (I actually have it as one of mine), and the person says that they made it... So, I thought maybe they made one similar, nope they didn't.... Truly that amazes me

Allow me to get up on my soapbox for a moment...

This has happened a lot in the last few days, and I have finally had it...

There is this woman at work (more than one, but I am focusing on her for this), who tells everybody that she's nice (she actually said those words today) and then will turn around and stab you in the back the first chance that she gets... I wasn't sure till today that she had done it to me, but I am pretty sure now that she has. Now I can handle that, that's no problem, I don't need a full time job there as badly as they might think I do.

What truly irritates me is the way she treats certain people. She (and a couple others) has decided that she doesn't like this one girl on our shift, and even though she goes out of her way to be *nice* you can tell that she doesn't like her she doesn't come off as being nice to her. Now this girl is different and was actually born in the Middle East, so the way she speaks and the way she acts is different (not wrong, different!)... And the girl from the Middle East also had trouble getting used to the phones and what we're doing, but rather than help her, she picks at her... It feels like it's only getting worse, and I am getting REALLY close to losing my temper.

I talked about it to the other woman stayed later today and I actually got to blow off some steam... It just truly amazes me the way that some people act and treat people...

It reminds me of the UK vs. US JB wank (and other wank that I have witnessed). Opinions differ, that's why they are called *opinions* for God's sake! No matter how long you've been a fan or known who he is doesn't make you better or worse, or your opinion more valid. I mean, I can remember Central Park West, does that make me more valid than the person that only first saw him in Torchwood? I don't think so. I do think there is a bit of touchiness going on to, that has more to do with the person's personality than anything with JB (which I think JB would be the first to point out).

Anyway, I'm done now, and I feel a lot better...

Oh and someone tell me to stop listening to this song...

Finally got the damn thing to work...

I solved one of my problems when I uploaded my Ianto mood theme... The length of title of the mood theme... This time, uploading a Jack mood theme, stupid photobucket decided to be an ass... I kept trying to do mass upload, and it kept quitting... So after rebooting twice, and then trying the mass upload again, I settled on uploading one by one... Totally tedious, but it works now, so totally worth it.

I could talk about the rest of my day... Stupid back hurts, and hearing Right Here Waiting for You at the psychiatrist's office... And my Party of Five crack... I totally forgot that Jennifer Aspen was a cast member in the final season... And what a diva Neve Campbell was...

There! All done...

Total overhaul on my journal, new layout, new profile, and new userpics... I remember I said that I would never find enough pictures to fill all of the new slots... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......... I was wrong...

Love the new Torchwood trailer. Love the Doctor Who feel, love that Ianto speaks the most in the trailer (besides gray-haired dude with the beard, I'm too lazy to look up his name). Interesting that Gwen doesn't speak at all, even lady with the dreads has a line, but no Gwen... It's kinda hard to find Rhys in the trailer, but if you look he's there... No sign of Andy in it though... I know that Eve has been reassuring that Andy's in it... Also Jack in jeans and a t-shirt is in there... Also interesting that Eve has gotten a haircut.... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I'm committing to not going with this ominous feeling I have for series 3...

Just wanted to wish everyone...

on my flist a Happy New Year... I want to thank you all for adding me back... I don't want to single anyone out, you have all been such a highlight to a VERY shitty year (which is now thankfully over :o)). Thank you all for being my friends :o)

And of course my other highlights: John Barrowman, Torchwood and Gareth David-Lloyd... Little did I know when I innocently downloaded Another Side last November that it would turn into this... Torchwood Series 2 seriously rocked. Gareth squeezed me when I met him in June... And in my eight times meeting John, I walked past him on the street, he touched my back (and I touched his squee!), and he waved at me on the last night of Maria (and drove down John Street like a maniac :P)

just cause I love this picture :o) )

Try not to stare at the hips...

I'll try :P

Anyway... Decided to stop with the weird and cryptic entries... I might post about my life in the past few weeks... I'll see...

New icon in honour of Rick Astley... I actually convinced the people at work last night that he's not gay...

Right now I am obsessed with my boot of Norbert Leo Butz as Mark in Rent... I keep playing Happy New Year over and over and over... I SO wish there was video of him following Idina with the video camera in this song... Apparently no such boot exists though :o( I am SO jealous of the people that get to see him and Raul Esparza together in Speed the Plow (isn't that the play Madonna was in the eighties?).

I uploaded 10 new icons today... All of the *mini* variety... I even have an Alice and Emily. Now I just need a real Alice and Emily.

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.

A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.

A unique soul like you needs a city that offers everything.

No wonder you and London will get along so well.

Nature, Background, Big Picture, and Color

You perceive the world with particular attention to nature. You focus on the hidden treasures of life (the background) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the colors around you. Because of the value you place on nature, you tend to find comfort in more subdued settings and find energy in solitude. You like to ponder ideas and imagine the many possibilities of your life without worrying about the details or specifics. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You are a down-to-earth person who enjoys going with the flow.

Oh and I am listening to JB's cabaret from... I think it's 2002, cause it's in Washington DC, and that's when he was doing Company... Just listened to his intro to Moon River, and he really hasn't changed it in six years. It's really cute though, cause he asked if anybody knew who he was... And not a lot of people knew...

For the record...

Richard Marx wrote Right Here Waiting for You, NOT Bryan Adams...

I can't even find a version of Bryan singing it... I googled it though and was shocked by how many people think that Bryan sings it...

Richard and Bryan are both singer-songwriters, maybe that's the confusion?

I can remember listening to the top 40 when the song went to number 1. Richard wrote the song about his relationship with his wife, I think before they were married...

Anyway, that has been bugging me ALL day...
