Steven Page is leaving Barenaked Ladies... This truly feels like the end of an era. I mean I was *in* Grade Nine when the song came out... The other guys are going to go on without him... I never did pay attention to what happened when he was arrested for drugs though...

In other news, work went well (go me!) and my mother and I are still talking in circles... I am SO sick of it. I want out and would have been gone if I had a full time job (which she knows)...

Oh and stupid itunes just took 2 tries to load, WTF???

Truly the practice questions for Excel are on a website...

No Take That today (not so far anyway)....

How about a running total? Everybody lip-synched their songs at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. It actually at one point looked like Idina Menzel forgot the words to "I Stand." Rick Astley was there too... I didn't know he was there till I watched my tape and I squeed... He did "Never Gonna Give You Up." He lip-synched to the recording from 20 years ago... He should have been allowed to re-record it... It was great to see him nonetheless. He looked good, almost *Clayish*... Okay I'll stop now :P

Watched behind the music New Kids on the Block... Brought back LOTS of memories, I had actually forgotten about Nynuk... I didn't know until I watched the show that Danny Wood and Donny Wahlberg are best friends... How did I miss that detail? Joey McIntyre was my favourite with a little of Jordan Knight.

JB was on tv a lot over the weekend too... Paul O'Grady was probably my favourite... Everybody will have to give good reports of the panto, and whether he really does some of it on ice skates. BBC breakfast was interesting and the Strictly Show and X Factor...

On a sidenote how did I not know that Simon Cowell was a judge on X Factor? I knew he had something to do with it, I just didn't realize he was on it every week.

I think that's it... I even refrained from mentioning wank.... Oops... :P

He got me watching Take That documentaries on youtube this weekend. I started with An Audience with Take that, and you can actually see John in the audience.

Then I watched the one about them preparing for their first tour in ten years and then For the Record... I still don't like Robbie Williams though... I didn't like him before this weekend, and he didn't come off like a prick to me in For The Record.... He was just about the same. I know it must have been a big step for him to do the documentary, but then when he said he wouldn't be in a room with the rest of the guys if Gary was there... I just was like it's been 10 years move on. But he was very complimentary to Gary and the rest of the guys, and it has been two years since that documentary...

I even downloaded their greatest hits and their new CD... Is the new CD called *The* Circus, because Britney Spears' new CD is called *Circus*?

Richard Marx wrote Right Here Waiting for You, NOT Bryan Adams...

I can't even find a version of Bryan singing it... I googled it though and was shocked by how many people think that Bryan sings it...

Richard and Bryan are both singer-songwriters, maybe that's the confusion?

I can remember listening to the top 40 when the song went to number 1. Richard wrote the song about his relationship with his wife, I think before they were married...

Anyway, that has been bugging me ALL day...

Perseverance should be my middle name... Sometimes I forget that about myself and I admit defeat too easily... And it's not just little things, or big things it should be everything... Not at at the expense of anyone or anything else, just to better myself... That's okay right?

I'll stop being cryptic now (read: weird)... I have to go to bed, so I can learn all about macros in the morning... And then I have an interview............... YIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.............................. not...

First I have to finish putting the Music Music Music album cover in my itunes though (that's infinitely more important :P). I should probably stop listening to this song too...

Very much the same veign as Another Side... The arrangements are simpler though and definitely not overproduced.

I really like the full version of What About Us (big shock there).

All the rest of the songs are arranged similarly to the original versions. Nothing radically different. The track I like the least is Uptown Girl, which was basically what I expected after I listened to the sample. The two other guys get major lines in the song as well(Daniel Boys and Ben Ellis right?)...

Ummmmmmmmmm.... He enunciates more than some of the original singers, which is a bit disconcerting. I could actually understand all of the words, as opposed to most of them :P

My initials favourites are probably Both Sides Now and Right Here Waiting. I love that he has Canadian songwriters on there too... Sarah McLachlan could probably use the royalties for her music program in Vancouver.

Sadly the version I got doesn't have the solo version of I Know Him So Well. Oh well, I'm just glad I got an advance copy. I'm sure someone will upload it next week with the solo version as well.

Now because I am REALLY weird I am going to go watch John in Titans :P

I got it! I actually got it! John Barrowman's CD leaked and I got it (thanks to a REALLY nice friend)! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rest of my life doesn't measure up to this today.

I don't know if the report is adorable or Randy (when is he not?)... Let's go with both...

It was about the con he did in Paris for Queer as Folk (a lot of the QAF people thought the sun was going to fall out of the sky when they heard the he agreed to and was indeed going to do it)... He talked a lot about the show, and a bit about the actors... I can't remember word for word, but I know he said that he *adores* Gale Harold.... I let out a big awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww then...

I can't get any of the vids from the con to work though...

Oh and I seem to be on a Adam Pascal kick today... I am actually listening to Blinding Light... It's really good. I don't know what they were talking about at Broadwayworld saying the CD isn't good. It's not like Model Prisoner or Civilian, but who would want it to be?

It all started when I couldn't find my wallet last night... I went to the store (all I wanted was frickin' tomatoes), went to grab my purse and discovered my wallet wasn't inside it. All these things start going through my head, and I ended up calling every store that I went to on Friday and Saturday. None of them had it... I searched my car three times, but by then it was dark, so I had to feel around, rather than look around... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ I asked my mom if she had seen it, cause she took my car the other day and I had left my purse in it. Nope she hadn't seen either... I spent three hours looking for it... Only to get up this morning, to first have my Norton antivirus uninstall and then reinstall itself (the computer prompted me that it wasn't running, then I restarted and it was running, even though at first I got the same message as I did the first time) the cat put his dirty paws on my white shirt, drop the dirty laundry down the stairs, and then finally get to look in my car. I looked in the back seat, no sign of it, and then I looked under the driver's seat, and there it was... I wanted to slump in relief, but I had to get to class.

Spent the morning, with stupid phrases, dependent and independent clauses, essential and nonessential phrases and proofreading for simpler words... The first part kicked my ass big time. Then I spent time practicing, so I didn't even leave till 12pm... The girl next to me left at 10am and English isn't her first language... I was like, um.... okay...

I had an interview this afternoon (which I couldn't remember what the position was...Ooops), and almost got lost... She was very nice...

Went to two Walmarts looking for the second series of Torchwood (it was finally released today in Canada). Then ended up at the mall, where two stores had it, and I am now in possession of... Not before a woman tried to jump the line in HMV, which started with me... I was like, excuse me... I'm next!

Now I'm listening to samples of songs on John Barrowman's next CD... Interesting... The sound is similar to Another Side... I think Daniel Boys does background vocals on Uptown Girl (I'm wondering if I should admit that I am really NOT a Billy Joel fan?). And I Am What I Am isn't a pop song on this CD either...

Oh and on a side note? Another Side is still on the shelf in my Walmart...

AND my stupid sinuses are about to burst... I kept hitting my forehead in class today and all I could feel was the pressure on them...

I knew Idina Menzel was coming to Toronto to do a concert and I had resigned myself to not going... That was a while ago, but then I started thinking today that I would like to go... Two problems, the concert is on Friday, and the tickets are 49.50 and I don't have a job right now(plus stupid convenience and building fees). I've been trying to find student ticket pricing and am having no luck......... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I looked at cheap tickets and they are charging over 100.00 for them... Yeah sure that's cheap. I've been trying to figure out if you can get tickets at the door, but from the looks of the theatre's website they don't. I really can't buy from ticketmaster now anyway, they have to mail the ticket to me, and it really isn't possible for it to get here by Friday.

In other news, I learned today (cause verbs are SO exciting) that you don't LAY down you LIE down... Of course, my mind immediately went into the gutter, when I realized that you really can't get LAID...
