Steven Page is leaving Barenaked Ladies... This truly feels like the end of an era. I mean I was *in* Grade Nine when the song came out... The other guys are going to go on without him... I never did pay attention to what happened when he was arrested for drugs though...

In other news, work went well (go me!) and my mother and I are still talking in circles... I am SO sick of it. I want out and would have been gone if I had a full time job (which she knows)...

Oh and stupid itunes just took 2 tries to load, WTF???

I solved one of my problems when I uploaded my Ianto mood theme... The length of title of the mood theme... This time, uploading a Jack mood theme, stupid photobucket decided to be an ass... I kept trying to do mass upload, and it kept quitting... So after rebooting twice, and then trying the mass upload again, I settled on uploading one by one... Totally tedious, but it works now, so totally worth it.

I could talk about the rest of my day... Stupid back hurts, and hearing Right Here Waiting for You at the psychiatrist's office... And my Party of Five crack... I totally forgot that Jennifer Aspen was a cast member in the final season... And what a diva Neve Campbell was...

I left late for class because the Barrowman was on The One Show and I HAD to watch then (rather than after class, just in case it got taken down)... Stress tests and his grey hair, was what I got out of that one...

Spent the morning learning to record macros (REALLY exciting.... not), and make input boxes... Then I got my entire row laughing, the instructor was looking at me like I was going crazy... Which was entirely possible... My main theme today was that I kept telling the lady next to me that she was old, and she kept saying she wasn't...

Then I left for an interview... I got lost and the place was only four minutes from the college... I was like.... What the fuck? I had my map pointed in the wrong direction and got lost. I finally got there twenty minutes late and talked to the guy and he said that he would need me to start tonight. We went over the job and THEN he told me he was seeing someone else today too... But he would call at 4pm if he needed me.

So I had to go to the drugstore, which was where I was going to go next, but my ipod died... One minute it said it had power, and the next the battery was almost completely drained. So I had to go home to charge it... Then the damn iscrobbler wouldn't work, so I waited for it to work and talked to my mom and by the time I left for the drugstore it was after 3pm... I had less than an hour till 4pm...

I wanted to go to this outlet that was at the other end of town in the spring... But not only is it not there, the whole building that it was in has been knocked down... I was like when did that happen? I had to cave and go to the drugstore and ended up asking the woman there what colour eyeliner I wear... She confirmed I wear dark black...

Then I went to get something to eat... I usually go through the drive thru, but there were two cars already waiting... So I decided to test a theory and went in the restaurant to order the food. When I left the first car that was in the line was pulling away. I was glad that I didn't wait in the line...

Then I got home and it was after 4pm... No phone call... He finally called just after 4:30pm and left a message that he didn't think the hours would fit into my school schedule, but if I wanted he would keep me in mind for other assignments... I left a message agreeing...

Then I watched Party of Five... Which is truly one of my forms of crack...Julia was with one guy, dumped him and then slept with Griffin as soon as he came back to town... And Bailey decied to stop being a drunk and move back home...

THEN my mom told me that our lights work again... YAY no more stumbling around in the dark at night...

And THEN up till about an hour ago I was helping this lady with her resume and job search...

So I'm tired now...

And reading that Torchwood (and the Sarah Jane Adventures) could possibly wrap up after they do a fourth series has brought me down... It's something to the effect that Stephen Moffat would only have one show rather than three to deal with... :o( Stephen Moffat wrote the first show that Captain Jack was ever in... He wouldn't do that would he? He wouldn't want that... I hope...

It all started when I couldn't find my wallet last night... I went to the store (all I wanted was frickin' tomatoes), went to grab my purse and discovered my wallet wasn't inside it. All these things start going through my head, and I ended up calling every store that I went to on Friday and Saturday. None of them had it... I searched my car three times, but by then it was dark, so I had to feel around, rather than look around... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ I asked my mom if she had seen it, cause she took my car the other day and I had left my purse in it. Nope she hadn't seen either... I spent three hours looking for it... Only to get up this morning, to first have my Norton antivirus uninstall and then reinstall itself (the computer prompted me that it wasn't running, then I restarted and it was running, even though at first I got the same message as I did the first time) the cat put his dirty paws on my white shirt, drop the dirty laundry down the stairs, and then finally get to look in my car. I looked in the back seat, no sign of it, and then I looked under the driver's seat, and there it was... I wanted to slump in relief, but I had to get to class.

Spent the morning, with stupid phrases, dependent and independent clauses, essential and nonessential phrases and proofreading for simpler words... The first part kicked my ass big time. Then I spent time practicing, so I didn't even leave till 12pm... The girl next to me left at 10am and English isn't her first language... I was like, um.... okay...

I had an interview this afternoon (which I couldn't remember what the position was...Ooops), and almost got lost... She was very nice...

Went to two Walmarts looking for the second series of Torchwood (it was finally released today in Canada). Then ended up at the mall, where two stores had it, and I am now in possession of... Not before a woman tried to jump the line in HMV, which started with me... I was like, excuse me... I'm next!

Now I'm listening to samples of songs on John Barrowman's next CD... Interesting... The sound is similar to Another Side... I think Daniel Boys does background vocals on Uptown Girl (I'm wondering if I should admit that I am really NOT a Billy Joel fan?). And I Am What I Am isn't a pop song on this CD either...

Oh and on a side note? Another Side is still on the shelf in my Walmart...

AND my stupid sinuses are about to burst... I kept hitting my forehead in class today and all I could feel was the pressure on them...

Morning was boring, adverbs, capitalization and proofreading... I thought adverbs and capitalization would take longer, but they didn't; I thought look for missed facts, inconsistencies.... There was something else, but I can't remember... Would take longer, but they didn't... Worked on my resume for a little while, and still left class before 11:30am.

Handed out about 10 resumes, filled out applications... I have to get an interview right? I wore my John Barrowman sweater for luck too (don't know what I am talking about? Look for a picture of him and me in here, the sweater I am wearing in the picture)... So hopefully.

Kind of felt blah after that... Watched soaps, Bold and Beautiful is just dreadful, they really should just kill Ridge Forrester once and for all. Cause seriously Taylor and Brooke fighting over him and ONLY him to infinity is SO boring and SO old (they've done this, in some form or another, for almost twenty years). As the World Turns is just lame, Dusty comes back from the dead and does nothing, but the other day Noah walks out on Luke for cheating in the election and they haven't been on since... Someone in one of the communities said they would have sex before the end of the summer. Well the end of the summer has come and gone and still nothing... General Hospital was marginally good, only watched it for Luke and Laura though, who are kind of marginally on the show in the first place... I think Genie is gone soon again.

What else? Got notice about my loan... Have to start paying it back within six months of graduation... I have a slight problem with that... Also got a cheque in the mail for almost 700.00, so that's good...

Also, stupid person that I am I locked my keys in my car... Didn't think anything of it, when I got home today, did some stuff on the computer, watched soaps... Then I went to move my car, and couldn't find my keys... Looked inside the car, keys are in plain sight in my purse. Just helped the CAA guy open the door to get my keys out (it was harder, because I have power locks).

What else? Totally loved the outcome of the election. Change is what the US needs, change is what the world needs. The US and the world need to have better relations.

I had more and I can't remember... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ I always do this.

Anyway, watching Party of Five a lot lately too... Matthew Fox in 1995, VERY interesting... And now it's like Scott Who?

ETA: I remember... Want to change my layout to something more Christmasy too... Not the layouts that LJ offer either... Maybe just something with Christmas colours...
