I wore my Rent shirt to work, and listened to the OBC on my break and when I went to the mall... I still need to learn how to make an e with an accent when I type too... I looked one up before and it didn't work...

Got the Torchwood Archives at Chapters today. It made me so happy that they are selling Torchwood stuff there... They even have JB's autobiography there... They're supposed to have the paperback there too, but they don't have any in stock...

I found a Canadian website that sells the Doctor Who and Torchwood figures too... The only extra they charge is shipping (through Canada Post)... They even have a sale on the Doctor Who Captain Jack figure...

My cat missed me today, he's been following me around since I got home...

That and I am thismuchcloser to getting more hours at work... Sometimes patience and perseverance really do payoff...

It was really good... Well I've watched the documentary and the featurettes... Not the entire performance (yet)...

The documentary was really good... It was nice that they started with Rodney Hicks and Gwen Stewart (interesting to know that Rodney was 21 when Rent opened.... not that much older than me really)... Seeing all the backstage stuff was really interesting... And the production manager taking down all of the pictures on the walls. That and when they filmed there was no audience present... I actually believed that the applause and cheers were real... I know I am still slightly naive, but wow... Adam Kantor saying that he was in fifth grade when Rent opened made me feel really old... But then Will Chase is like 15 years older than him, so I didn't feel so bad :P It was funny when Eden Espinosa was teasing Adam saying that he wasn't old enough to know who Punky Brewster was.... That's who she reminds me of quite frankly, that and her saying that he hadn't cried that whole week (the documentary was filmed during the last week of the show). It was funny Rodney saying that Michael Grief was still giving them notes even on the second last Sunday... That and the original cast members and former cast members who were on camera... Jamie Lee Kircshner (I don't think I spelled that right) and Luther Creek (saying that he was a former Roger... ahem....), and the others. It was nice that they filmed the original cast members in the wing, just before the end of the show... Wilson Jermain Heredia was a little out of tune though... Kinda strange that Anthony Rapp wasn't standing with that group though... When they came on stage for the encore, he came from the opposite direction... I also didn't realize that Tracie Thoms ran right into Jesse L. Martin's arms right when the encore was finished...

Anyway.... It was very good.... I just need to watch the rest of the performance now... I didn't start watching the DVD till midnight though, so hopefully understandable :P Oh and the guy that ran the lotto crying was really sweet, when it hit him that it was the final one. Oh and then Adam finally did break down when they walked offstage... And they kept the music going over the footage of them starting to take down the set...

I wonder what the Nederlander looks like now? Have previews started for Guys and Dolls yet? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

Well I've done it... I have finally seen Rent with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp... Truly a wondrous experience...

I do have a second part, but this is just a few incidentals... I couldn't pick out Jed or Karmine or Cary on the stage. Caren Lyn Manuel goes by Caren Tackett now? She must have gotten married.

Actually got Torchwood and Deadwood mixed up... She said that they say *cunt* a lot on Torchwood.... And I said no they don't... I was tempted to argue, but let it go... She called her husband and confirmed that they say it on Deadwood.... She wasn't sure, but I was sitting there holding my copy of Twilight Streets... I really don't think JB et al would be on a show that used that word...

In other news.... I've got my first sinus headache of the year... Not bad considering it's the 10th... I would have thought that I would have one sooner... I don't feel fluish anymore though....


Oh and did I mention that I am done class in a week? I literally have one more module to go.... That and this time next week I will be in Buffalo waiting for Rent to start....

Oh and I forgot, I am Blue Gillespie's one and only friend on lastfm... I now know what a *Gillespie* is too...

Oh and I forgot (2)... I FINALLY have the soundtrack to the Godspell movie.... EEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Victor Garber as Jesus... Just started watching my DVD of season 3 of Alias too... Spy Daddy :o) I almost think the first disc is missing an episode though... I'm positive Sydney is introduced to Vaughan's wife in an episode, but the second episode showed recap, not where they meet.... Hmmmmmmmmmm

Last one... I was talking to this other guy at work today, and he said that JB looked plastic.... I asked why and he said cause he looked *too perfect*.... I was good though, I defended JB (with no mention of botox :P) and said he looks even better in person.

I'll try :P

Anyway... Decided to stop with the weird and cryptic entries... I might post about my life in the past few weeks... I'll see...

New icon in honour of Rick Astley... I actually convinced the people at work last night that he's not gay...

Right now I am obsessed with my boot of Norbert Leo Butz as Mark in Rent... I keep playing Happy New Year over and over and over... I SO wish there was video of him following Idina with the video camera in this song... Apparently no such boot exists though :o( I am SO jealous of the people that get to see him and Raul Esparza together in Speed the Plow (isn't that the play Madonna was in the eighties?).

I uploaded 10 new icons today... All of the *mini* variety... I even have an Alice and Emily. Now I just need a real Alice and Emily.
