I left late for class because the Barrowman was on The One Show and I HAD to watch then (rather than after class, just in case it got taken down)... Stress tests and his grey hair, was what I got out of that one...

Spent the morning learning to record macros (REALLY exciting.... not), and make input boxes... Then I got my entire row laughing, the instructor was looking at me like I was going crazy... Which was entirely possible... My main theme today was that I kept telling the lady next to me that she was old, and she kept saying she wasn't...

Then I left for an interview... I got lost and the place was only four minutes from the college... I was like.... What the fuck? I had my map pointed in the wrong direction and got lost. I finally got there twenty minutes late and talked to the guy and he said that he would need me to start tonight. We went over the job and THEN he told me he was seeing someone else today too... But he would call at 4pm if he needed me.

So I had to go to the drugstore, which was where I was going to go next, but my ipod died... One minute it said it had power, and the next the battery was almost completely drained. So I had to go home to charge it... Then the damn iscrobbler wouldn't work, so I waited for it to work and talked to my mom and by the time I left for the drugstore it was after 3pm... I had less than an hour till 4pm...

I wanted to go to this outlet that was at the other end of town in the spring... But not only is it not there, the whole building that it was in has been knocked down... I was like when did that happen? I had to cave and go to the drugstore and ended up asking the woman there what colour eyeliner I wear... She confirmed I wear dark black...

Then I went to get something to eat... I usually go through the drive thru, but there were two cars already waiting... So I decided to test a theory and went in the restaurant to order the food. When I left the first car that was in the line was pulling away. I was glad that I didn't wait in the line...

Then I got home and it was after 4pm... No phone call... He finally called just after 4:30pm and left a message that he didn't think the hours would fit into my school schedule, but if I wanted he would keep me in mind for other assignments... I left a message agreeing...

Then I watched Party of Five... Which is truly one of my forms of crack...Julia was with one guy, dumped him and then slept with Griffin as soon as he came back to town... And Bailey decied to stop being a drunk and move back home...

THEN my mom told me that our lights work again... YAY no more stumbling around in the dark at night...

And THEN up till about an hour ago I was helping this lady with her resume and job search...

So I'm tired now...

And reading that Torchwood (and the Sarah Jane Adventures) could possibly wrap up after they do a fourth series has brought me down... It's something to the effect that Stephen Moffat would only have one show rather than three to deal with... :o( Stephen Moffat wrote the first show that Captain Jack was ever in... He wouldn't do that would he? He wouldn't want that... I hope...

Perseverance should be my middle name... Sometimes I forget that about myself and I admit defeat too easily... And it's not just little things, or big things it should be everything... Not at at the expense of anyone or anything else, just to better myself... That's okay right?

I'll stop being cryptic now (read: weird)... I have to go to bed, so I can learn all about macros in the morning... And then I have an interview............... YIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.............................. not...

First I have to finish putting the Music Music Music album cover in my itunes though (that's infinitely more important :P). I should probably stop listening to this song too...

Anyway...

I just read that Adam Pascal is going to be at the Royal Variety Performance for a Lion King tribute... John Barrowman's going to be there too... John and Adam? Yes please!

Which makes me think (as I do every so often), what part could John play in Rent? Now to me it's between Mark and Roger. Right now I am leaning towards Roger, but it's still hard to imagine him playing an HIV postive ex-heroin addict... Why I'm leaning that way is that Will Chase played Roger in Rent, and played Chris in Miss Saigon... I know there's some faulty reasoning in there, but it's my theory :P

Ummmmmmmmmm......... What else? Business English and Proofreading is now over... Don't know what I got on the project, but I got 84 on the exam. I was steered in the wrong direction on a question and got the answer wrong.... I've already started Excel too... And I saw another course that I might be interested in today.

Went for an interview at a tube park... Which was interesting.

Watched General Hospital today... It's gotten SO lame. Elizabeth and Jason should just be together... And the way Laura left was SO stupid.

Now I'm listening to Oprah... Her home and Rob Lowe's didn't burn down... So relieved :P

Oh and apparently I don't know as many Best Picture Winners and classic Disney movies as I thought... I know more about movie villains? Weird?

And this song? It's so sad, but it's so beautiful... George needs to write more musicals...

ETA: And I totally forgot... Was poking around John's revamped website... Very nice, of course there were a few people who didn't like the colours (I'm surprised their comments got through).

It all started when I couldn't find my wallet last night... I went to the store (all I wanted was frickin' tomatoes), went to grab my purse and discovered my wallet wasn't inside it. All these things start going through my head, and I ended up calling every store that I went to on Friday and Saturday. None of them had it... I searched my car three times, but by then it was dark, so I had to feel around, rather than look around... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ I asked my mom if she had seen it, cause she took my car the other day and I had left my purse in it. Nope she hadn't seen either... I spent three hours looking for it... Only to get up this morning, to first have my Norton antivirus uninstall and then reinstall itself (the computer prompted me that it wasn't running, then I restarted and it was running, even though at first I got the same message as I did the first time) the cat put his dirty paws on my white shirt, drop the dirty laundry down the stairs, and then finally get to look in my car. I looked in the back seat, no sign of it, and then I looked under the driver's seat, and there it was... I wanted to slump in relief, but I had to get to class.

Spent the morning, with stupid phrases, dependent and independent clauses, essential and nonessential phrases and proofreading for simpler words... The first part kicked my ass big time. Then I spent time practicing, so I didn't even leave till 12pm... The girl next to me left at 10am and English isn't her first language... I was like, um.... okay...

I had an interview this afternoon (which I couldn't remember what the position was...Ooops), and almost got lost... She was very nice...

Went to two Walmarts looking for the second series of Torchwood (it was finally released today in Canada). Then ended up at the mall, where two stores had it, and I am now in possession of... Not before a woman tried to jump the line in HMV, which started with me... I was like, excuse me... I'm next!

Now I'm listening to samples of songs on John Barrowman's next CD... Interesting... The sound is similar to Another Side... I think Daniel Boys does background vocals on Uptown Girl (I'm wondering if I should admit that I am really NOT a Billy Joel fan?). And I Am What I Am isn't a pop song on this CD either...

Oh and on a side note? Another Side is still on the shelf in my Walmart...

AND my stupid sinuses are about to burst... I kept hitting my forehead in class today and all I could feel was the pressure on them...

But I guess I got a lot accomplished today... Handed out more resumes (I've given out 19 in the last two days)... Learned about prepositions (gawd that was annoying), and I learned I suck at effective sentences part 1 (stupid clauses, and words that connect them)... I still have another week though, and I have only one more day of reading left.

Helped Mom clean the living room and the family room today... Lots and lots of vacuuming. And I figured out how to see my memories, without relying on my previous lj setup.

Oh and I've been watching Celebrity Rehab 2... Nothing like watching a trainwreck... Now I'm watching Party of Five again...

And I'm still listening to Emily Skinner... Like she said in her live concert with Alice Ripley at Town Hall, "Fucking amazing."

To me Emily and Alice in Torchwood ARE Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley... They have to be
right? It's too much of a coincidence.

ETA: Oh and I forgot to add.... I have been so busy, that I forgot all about Idina Menzel in concert tonight in Toronto... Till RIGHT NOW :o(

It's like 20 celsius here today, and it snowed last week... We're supposed to have this weather till the end of the week (at least). I went outside to rake leaves in a hoodie, t-shirt and sweatpants, and I got overheated in less than an hour.

While I was mildmannerly (:P) raking the leaves I heard a siren go down the highway. One isn't a huge shock, so I didn't really pay attention. Then I heard another siren, but I still didn't pay attention. I finally looked up when I went to put the rake away and all of the cars are backed up going west... The highway went from being clear to backed up in less than an hour...

Maybe someone going like a bat out of hell to get across the border to vote? Only problem? Where I am it's about 4 hours to the Windsor - Detroit border.

Now I am going to sit here and watch Luke and Noah arguing on As the World Turns...

Adam Pascal on his blog telling how his family calls him ladyjeans, because a girl on his website (who he blew up at) had that as her username on his message board. Said message board is now gone, but he still laments the name...

Oh and the tour with Anthony and Adam? It's being called the final Rent tour? WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I found out John Barrowman's panto this year is on ice... Really? I've seen some of that dancing on ice stuff...

I got 90 in my Advanced Keyboarding course....

And I have absolutely nothing to say about David Tennant...

Oh and I downloaded the OBC of Godspell... I don't know anybody in that cast, what I really wanted was the movie soundtrack... Victor Garber singing (I'm weird, I know)... I downloaded it in April, and am just now listening to it...

Now I have this urge to watch JB on Jonathan Ross

ETA: Also finally remembered how to make syndicated feeds tonight... Made new ones for JB, and for Gareth David-Lloyd

Oh and I read that Space is going to replay series 2 of Torchwood starting Nov 2... At least I think it was the 2nd... That would mean it's changing nights... And to think I was lamenting it being over...

Wow... It must have really wanted me to keep Patti LuPone live... I was like, no really I don't want to...

In other news I now have my own copy of Almost Perfect... Weirdly enough I did not get Pack Animals and I ordered them both on the same order.

I read it too.... And all I can say is EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! There is Janto and Gwen (who does not get between them at ALL!!!) and even Rhys doing some investigating...

Was just watching Party of Five on Muchmoremusic, and then it switched to Profile with John Mayer... Which was interesting, considering they played Your Body is a Wonderland. Lots of inuendo there ;o)

Ummmmmmmm.... Tonight is Exit Wounds... I'll watch it.... Sort of...

I also found out that the Comedy Network is going to start playing the Friday Night Project.

And I'm terrified...

I've decided to draw from RRSP for school (which is allowed, I won't be taxed and I have ten years to pay it back), and quit my job... I absolutely HATE answering the phone. I'm not good at it and my nerves get a hundred times worse when I'm there... The only reason I've stayed for so long is cause we had a really great group in training... But two of them are gone now, and four more before that.

I'm doing it Friday... Today is training, so we don't have to be on the phone at all, and tomorrow I'm going to the bank so I'm calling in sick.

I........


I feel real queasy now...


ETA: Okay I'm home again... Was supposed to be there till 8:30, and it's 6:15... I had every intention of staying, but our training was moved later, so we had to be on the phone for an hour before training... At first I was like, it's only an hour no big deal. But, I couldn't stay, Matt my TM was fixing my phone, and I asked him if I could go and come back for training, but he said he couldn't do it... So neither, could I and I left...

I think I got a job though... It's retail, but I feel like I can handle it.
