I can die happy...
Jul. 14th, 2008 09:48 pmI touched the Barrowman tonight... And I got an autograph and a pic!!!! My new friends from the States made my fifth show of Maria truly special. Thank you ladies...
Tonight's show was great... Trivia was funny, because John kept trying to get James to pick some of the people behind the judges... It worked a couple of times, but when James said he couldn't see them cause they weren't very well lit, John actually crouched in front of his seat... I just missed getting a picture of that... I loved James' intro of John tonight.... The man who put the *hot* in hothouse... So few people actually got that, but for those of us who do...
Ummmm... his parents were there... I actually could hear them talking a bit too (we were literally right in front of them)... Their accents were truly adorable... John actually used a bit of his too when he asked his dad a question during one of the commercial breaks.
I loved the fact that John emphasized that the judges like each other, but they take the process of picking the right girl to be Maria seriously... And then they got into it during the commercial break before Simon made his pick of the girl to stay... I would doubt the camera was on him, but John was leaning over with his face in his hands when Simon picked Elicia to stay...
I knew that Donna would go if she made it to the bottom three... The writing was on the wall, when Elaine went after her and Simon backed her up... It was honestly too bad, because Donna was the only one that I voted for... I wanted to vote for Marisa, but I couldn't... I don't think it's entirely fair that she's in the competition when she's worked professionally before...
You could totally tell that John empathized with her... And he spent a long time talking to both her and Tamara after the show... And then it looked like he was getting interviewed for something...
And that was when we all pounced... He signed autographs and took photos... And I FINALLY got both.... YIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Just need my new friend to send me my pic of me and John... I actually remembered to put my around him too... I learned my lesson from Gareth...
I now need to sleep, and actually go to work in the morning ;o)
