Of the Toshiko figure...

frankiecat: (Jack/Ianto Meat)

Of course it's not out yet... I REALLY want it though... That and the Captain Jack one... The blowfish and Captain John look really good too. I think the Captain John figure looks the best of the whole bunch... The website I found the pictures on says that a Tosh figure is coming out too, but there are no pictures of it... Makes me wonder if there really is one... Still strange that there is no sign of an Owen figure...

Oh and I'm supposed to work tomorrow and I feel like shit... It's child's birthday party at RIM park... I'm sure birthday cake will just make me feel worse...

ETA: Oh and someone please tell me what I am supposed to do with 50 more userpics? I don't even use 50 of my almost 150 now...

Watched the 100 Boy Ballads thing with JB... I agree that I like Ronan more than the other guy (sorry not 100% sure of his name) in Boyzone, No Matter What ended up as the top song...

Someone still needs to take the eyeliner away from his makeup artist though. But he wore my favourite jacket so that's okay then...

And I read that they are dismantling the hub till word comes about doing series 4 of Torchwood... That almost made me cry when I first read it...

ETA: Oh and whoever wrote it got a few facts wrong... Tim McGraw is not a songwriter and The Monkees did have a reunion... Mike Nesmith showed up for that, but not the tour...

I left late for class because the Barrowman was on The One Show and I HAD to watch then (rather than after class, just in case it got taken down)... Stress tests and his grey hair, was what I got out of that one...

Spent the morning learning to record macros (REALLY exciting.... not), and make input boxes... Then I got my entire row laughing, the instructor was looking at me like I was going crazy... Which was entirely possible... My main theme today was that I kept telling the lady next to me that she was old, and she kept saying she wasn't...

Then I left for an interview... I got lost and the place was only four minutes from the college... I was like.... What the fuck? I had my map pointed in the wrong direction and got lost. I finally got there twenty minutes late and talked to the guy and he said that he would need me to start tonight. We went over the job and THEN he told me he was seeing someone else today too... But he would call at 4pm if he needed me.

So I had to go to the drugstore, which was where I was going to go next, but my ipod died... One minute it said it had power, and the next the battery was almost completely drained. So I had to go home to charge it... Then the damn iscrobbler wouldn't work, so I waited for it to work and talked to my mom and by the time I left for the drugstore it was after 3pm... I had less than an hour till 4pm...

I wanted to go to this outlet that was at the other end of town in the spring... But not only is it not there, the whole building that it was in has been knocked down... I was like when did that happen? I had to cave and go to the drugstore and ended up asking the woman there what colour eyeliner I wear... She confirmed I wear dark black...

Then I went to get something to eat... I usually go through the drive thru, but there were two cars already waiting... So I decided to test a theory and went in the restaurant to order the food. When I left the first car that was in the line was pulling away. I was glad that I didn't wait in the line...

Then I got home and it was after 4pm... No phone call... He finally called just after 4:30pm and left a message that he didn't think the hours would fit into my school schedule, but if I wanted he would keep me in mind for other assignments... I left a message agreeing...

Then I watched Party of Five... Which is truly one of my forms of crack...Julia was with one guy, dumped him and then slept with Griffin as soon as he came back to town... And Bailey decied to stop being a drunk and move back home...

THEN my mom told me that our lights work again... YAY no more stumbling around in the dark at night...

And THEN up till about an hour ago I was helping this lady with her resume and job search...

So I'm tired now...

And reading that Torchwood (and the Sarah Jane Adventures) could possibly wrap up after they do a fourth series has brought me down... It's something to the effect that Stephen Moffat would only have one show rather than three to deal with... :o( Stephen Moffat wrote the first show that Captain Jack was ever in... He wouldn't do that would he? He wouldn't want that... I hope...

I don't usually watch Larry King, but I happened to turn it on tonight...

They're talking about Michael's first documentary Roger and Me, it's about the auto industry in Michigan and it's kinda prophetic to what's going on with the US auto industry right now. Not that I see Michael as totally credible and definitely not able to see the future, it's just interesting for the times that we live in.

I've only seen Bowling for Columbine actually. I'll never forget him opening the front doors to people's houses in Toronto and Windsor without anyone home... I was like that is SO a set up, people don't actually leave their houses unlocked here.

Weird fact? Michael Arden had to change his last name from Moore to Arden, because of this Michael Moore.

Meat is on Space tonight (I don't think there are any Canadians watching Torchwood anymore :o() and I'll probably watch a bit of From Out of the Rain too.

Watched the Faenol Festival tonight too... Interesting that for the radio they packaged it as the four of them (John, Daniel, Shan and Jodie), but for tv it was John Barrowman at the Faenol Festival... Granted the radio broadcast was live... It was really good though... And I am still totally enthralled by John and Daniel's I Know Him so Well...

It's pouring rain here, but they're having the Santa Claus parade tonight. They had the one in the city that I go to college in this morning... In the pouring rain! Tomorrow is the Toronto Christmas parade, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow too, and it might even turn into snow.

I'm sitting here chocolate truffles from the dinner my mom took me out to, they're good too. I don't feel like doing much of anything, it's cold... I'll probably just go watch my Torchwood DVD's, maybe I'll actually get past the first disc today :P

It all started when I couldn't find my wallet last night... I went to the store (all I wanted was frickin' tomatoes), went to grab my purse and discovered my wallet wasn't inside it. All these things start going through my head, and I ended up calling every store that I went to on Friday and Saturday. None of them had it... I searched my car three times, but by then it was dark, so I had to feel around, rather than look around... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ I asked my mom if she had seen it, cause she took my car the other day and I had left my purse in it. Nope she hadn't seen either... I spent three hours looking for it... Only to get up this morning, to first have my Norton antivirus uninstall and then reinstall itself (the computer prompted me that it wasn't running, then I restarted and it was running, even though at first I got the same message as I did the first time) the cat put his dirty paws on my white shirt, drop the dirty laundry down the stairs, and then finally get to look in my car. I looked in the back seat, no sign of it, and then I looked under the driver's seat, and there it was... I wanted to slump in relief, but I had to get to class.

Spent the morning, with stupid phrases, dependent and independent clauses, essential and nonessential phrases and proofreading for simpler words... The first part kicked my ass big time. Then I spent time practicing, so I didn't even leave till 12pm... The girl next to me left at 10am and English isn't her first language... I was like, um.... okay...

I had an interview this afternoon (which I couldn't remember what the position was...Ooops), and almost got lost... She was very nice...

Went to two Walmarts looking for the second series of Torchwood (it was finally released today in Canada). Then ended up at the mall, where two stores had it, and I am now in possession of... Not before a woman tried to jump the line in HMV, which started with me... I was like, excuse me... I'm next!

Now I'm listening to samples of songs on John Barrowman's next CD... Interesting... The sound is similar to Another Side... I think Daniel Boys does background vocals on Uptown Girl (I'm wondering if I should admit that I am really NOT a Billy Joel fan?). And I Am What I Am isn't a pop song on this CD either...

Oh and on a side note? Another Side is still on the shelf in my Walmart...

AND my stupid sinuses are about to burst... I kept hitting my forehead in class today and all I could feel was the pressure on them...

These are my observations so far (you could translate this into my infinite pickiness too):

The dead body at the beginning of Everything Changes, I honestly thought it was the same actor from the episode From Out of the Rain. I was convinced it was the same guy with blond hair (the actor is blond in Everything Changes)... I was wrong not the same guy, but they must be from the same area (don't ask me where, I am terrible with accents, I don't even say eh)... They ask him his name when they revive him, John Tucker, but in the closing credits he's listed as body... Why couldn't his name be in the credits?

Second thing, why does it take Jack so long to come out when Gwen is with the weevil at the police station? He doesn't come out till the other guys comes along and gets attacked... Huh?

Also why is Indira Varma's name higher than Gareth David-Lloyd's in the opening credits? I know it's meant to be misleading so you don't know if Suzie is going to stay, but really then Eve Myles shouldn't have been in the opening credits for the episode then...

Then Day One....Sara Gregory kissed everyone didn't she? Well Gareth off screen and Naoko only a few weeks ago...

I had more, but my mind is going blank now... Grrrrrrrrr... Too much reading for class...

In other news, I love that the spoilers about Ianto's family for series three are true. And that Eve and Kai have scenes together and Gareth and John.... I want the whole team to be together, but it's nice to know that there is definitely just Jack and Ianto stuff...

I just remembered one thing... Space is playing series two again on Sundays now...

And I can't focus on any one thing right now sooooooooooooo.....

The painting is finally getting done here (thank God)... Couldn't even hand out Halloween candy because of that... It also amused me to no end to see a picture of Gareth David-Lloyd wearing black nail polish... That and it was nice to see that he has the same girlfriend that he had this summer (AHEM)...

I cleaned out my itunes today... I removed all of the episodes of Queer as Folk I had on there... Which makes me kinda sad, but oh well... They are still on my computer, though.

My cat has been following me around all day... I got them new food, but he's still just bugging me.

I went to Walmart to get the cat food and water... And they were playing country music on the PA... I was like.... Okay.... I then went back to the music on my ipod, but realized a little while later that they were playing the Monkees' "Pleasant Valley Sunday".

I cannot wait till the election is over... I could get on my soapbox about voting, but I won't... I just hope that we will know by Wednesday who the next president is...

Ummmmmmmmmmmm.... Oh yeah, I almost forgot... There are going to be dancemix's released of John Barrowman's "What About Us". That kinda frightens me... Not that I won't listen of course... I do listen to other artists... He just calms me, so I listen to him more :o)

Oh and I read a kind of interesting spoiler about Torchwood series 3 today too... It was actually real too, unlike the one I read that Owen was coming back to be King of the Weevils (I promise that is not a spoiler, just some really odd speculation I read somewhere)...

I can't listen to this song, without thinking of Catherine Tate and John Barrowman making fun of it...
frankiecat: (Rent OBC- *Rentcrack*)
Adam Pascal on his blog telling how his family calls him ladyjeans, because a girl on his website (who he blew up at) had that as her username on his message board. Said message board is now gone, but he still laments the name...

Oh and the tour with Anthony and Adam? It's being called the final Rent tour? WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Just to be random...

The TO production of The Sound of Music is going to tour North America? Did anybody know that before??

I found out John Barrowman's panto this year is on ice... Really? I've seen some of that dancing on ice stuff...

I got 90 in my Advanced Keyboarding course....

And I have absolutely nothing to say about David Tennant...

Oh and I downloaded the OBC of Godspell... I don't know anybody in that cast, what I really wanted was the movie soundtrack... Victor Garber singing (I'm weird, I know)... I downloaded it in April, and am just now listening to it...

Now I have this urge to watch JB on Jonathan Ross

ETA: Also finally remembered how to make syndicated feeds tonight... Made new ones for JB, and for Gareth David-Lloyd

Oh and I read that Space is going to replay series 2 of Torchwood starting Nov 2... At least I think it was the 2nd... That would mean it's changing nights... And to think I was lamenting it being over...
